Beasts. Parasitic demons of unlimited power that are forced to merge with another living person in order to unleash their dreadful capabilities. The unfortunate souls that give up their freedoms for a taste of such corrupting power become known as Hosts, and from that moment onward, their bodies and minds no longer belong only to themselves. Beasts are the monsters that torment the peaceful country of Elgrai, and the reason why the cowardly son of the village healer has chosen to break his oath to do no harm.
Ruaidri, the sole survivor of the Red Fox Village, lost everything in a single night to a beast. With no one left and nowhere to go, the young fox is taken in by the bartender and owner of the Valer Madres, the most infamous bounty hunting bar in Elgrai. Driven to avenge his mother’s death and bring justice to his slaughtered village, Ruaidri swears to kill the beast, become the greatest bounty hunter of all time, and confront the man hosting the demon to answer for his crimes.
